Ingredients
500ml Vodka
8 cardamom pods
250g marmalade
Method
- Sterilise container or jar (Kilner jars are ideal).
- Put the marmalade in container
- Pour over the vodka
- Lightly crush the cardamom pods with a rolling pin or knife, then place in jar.
- Stir all the ingredients gently
- Seal the jar and leave in a cool dark place for at least 2 weeks for them to infuse
- Strain the ingredients through a sieve using muslin into a clean jug
- Decant the vodka into a sterilised bottle or smaller gifting bottles dropping in a twist of orange for effect.
- Decorate with a personalised label
- Rebottle the marmalade into sterilized Kilner jars and eat with toast!
